Paper Fun

Can you believe that the summer is almost over......the time has gone by sooooooo fast. For this month I decided to get into some of my stash and use some Eskimo Kisses by Basic Grey......I love all the bright colours and the matching chipboard. In this layout I used a photo of Logan when he was about 10 months old....wow this seems so long ago now.

I also decided to do an album of some family photos that I took last fall of the kids. I used a Kaiser Beyond the Page Album and pulled out some Pink Paislee Paper. I do not do many mini albums so I was quite happy the way it turned out.

Here are a few more that I finished up using some old Basic Grey and the Brooke Line from Crate Paper.

I was also able to spend an afternoon with this fabulous couple for some photos before they venture off to school. I ended up taking Logan with me that day so he also joined in for some of the fun.

Have a few more creations I am working on but it will have to wait until next time.
Thanks so much for viewing.

Just a Few More.

This month I decided to get into my stash of product and papers and had an opportunity to work with Crate Paper (the Brook Line). I love the texture and the colors in this line. I did the first 2 layouts for some challenges at Scrapdango....they have some really cool challenges each week so I figured it was time to join in. The flowers were inspired by a tutorial byGabrielle Pollacco. Instead of using the 6 petal punch I used the flower die from Tim Holtz....love this die!!!!!
In this layout I used a sketch from Carly on Scrapdango....what an amazing artist...I also lifted the stapled circle idea from my dear sweet friend Melanie(scrapadel) who happens to be another amazing artist.

This next layout I did for a challenge at Creative Scrapbook for a color challenge. I used the Max and Whiskers line from Basic Grey....love how rich the colors are...I think I may have to go buy some more...lol.

I have a few more on the go but does not look like I will get them up on time for the end of the month.

Have a fabulous weekend everyone and thanks so much for looking.

Summer Scrapping

As usual the month of July has flown on by. We have been busy doing yard work, cleaning(which is really nothing new...lol)and running the boys to soccer. We also decided to get the boat out a few times....I am not a huge fan of the water but I sure enjoyed playing with the camera on the other end as the kids played.

Scrapbookbook Dreamer has a bunch of new challenges again this month. This month I decided to challenge everyone to use up some of their winter and Christmas photos. In my first layout I used the Frosted Fancy Pants line....I love the bright and bold colours in this line. I had a photo of our cat that I thought would work perfect with this line.

I also made a few CD covers for some of the people that I took photos for...what a great way to store the CD and look pretty too. I used the Pink Paislee Queen Bee Line for these. The idea was totally inspired by my firends from the Paper Pickle.

My next layout for ScrapbookDreamer was for a Challenge by Laura Gilhuly to make a banner on your layout....this was a first for me but definitely not the last....how fun!!!!!!!!!!! I used Pink Paislee's 365 Line....again another new love for me.

I decided to make a mini album for a friend of mine using the Queen Bee Line again. I love mini albums but I really stuggle doing them so this was a big accomplishment for me.

Thanks so much for looking.

Another Month Has Past

The month has gone by so fast again and again I am behind in my posts. I have been busy here with tons of photos again this month from some beautiful girls and their graduation...they all looked so amazing.

I have also been busy doing some more layouts for Dreamer. This month we changed thing up a bit with our challenges and what fun it was.

I manged to finish 3 layouts from our Scrapbook Dreamer kits....love, love, love this stuff. I used lots of Basic Grey Origins and of course my newest favourite....Scribble Scrabble. This product is amazing and the colours are so perfect for girls or boys.

I also have a class coming up On July 8th at the Paper Pickle. I count my blessing everyday to be teaching there with such a fun group of ladies. We will be doing some stitching and learning to weave and so much more. Hope to see you guys there. There is still room left in the class.
