June Already

It has been a totally crazy 6 weeks for us here. I have done 3 photo shoots last week which I will be editting for a bit yet, gardening, farming, football and soccer for the boys and of course scrapping. I got behind posting my layouts for May from Scrapbook Dreamer and from the Paper Pickle so I figured I better get them updated.

These 3 were layouts for Dreamer using SEI and Scribble Scrabble (one of my new favourites). The ideas seem endless with these lines and I love the fact that it is perfect for both boys and girls. The first layout I used the Scribble Scrabble Pattern Paper, Petaloo Flowers, American Craft thickers, Kaiser Pearls and some SEI chiplets and chose some photos of Logan riding his little bike around. For me these photos were priceless because for those of you that know Logan...well he is not much of a smiler. When I was able to capture that heart warming smile I knew immediately that these photos have to be scrapped.

The second layout was with my sweet niece Emma. We took a walk out behind the farm to where we have an old bridge (perfect for photos). I love this photo of her. I used The SEI Papers, Petaloo Flowersm Prima Flowers, Hero Art Flowers, SEI chiplets, Martha Stewart double loop punch and Thickers.

On the third layout I also used the SEI Papers. I took this photo of Josh while we were are the park back in April. Josh loves to stop and smell the flowers no matter where we go....even if it is only dandelions.

I thought I would share some of the photos I took too.there are some from a Prom Shoot and a family shoot that I did on the Friday and then also from this beautiful wedding from Saturday. I really had alot of fun with these guys and it was such a great opportunity to play with my camera again.

We are also having an upcoming class at the Paper Pickle in Chatham on June 17. There is still some seats left so come and join us for some crafting and laughter. Here is the layout we will be making for the evening. Hope to see you there.

One More for the Passion of it

I just finished another layout for The Paper Passion. The ideas with this kit have been endless. After doing 2 layouts of Shae I figured it was time to do one of the boys again. This is probably one of the biggest things I like about the kit ... I can create for both boy and girl......having tons of fun and still more to come.

The circle scallops were inspired by Debbie Sherman and all her fabulous creations.

Thanks so much for looking.

More Passion Fun

Hi girls....just thought I would check in with another bright and fun layout from the May Kit at The Paper Passion.

In this layout I decided to do some sewing and faux stitching, lots of distressing and I even decided to use some cardboard. I also had tons of fun making some flowers and playing with the stunning orange Prima flowers, Prima Cyrstals and Bo Bunny chipboard that were in the kit.

For those of you that have ordered this kit, I hope you are having as much fun as me....and for those that have not....wel what are you waiting for....you will love all the goodies Rosa has packed into it.

At The Paper Passion for May

I was so happy and honoured when Rosa asked if I would be Guest DT for the month of May. Last week I received this fabulous package of goodies from her which include GCD's new line Melody Ross, Co'ordination cardstock, Bo Bunny Chipboard Stickers, Prima flowers and bling, glitter brads, Artisan Tape, Thickers, Doodlebug Alpha Stickers, and Crepe Ribbon....what an awesome kit!!!!!

For my first layout I used the American Craft Thickers, Mustard colour Co'ordination cardstock, glitter brads, ribbon and some of the pattern paper by GCD. I also used the 5 petal flower punch that can be purchased from Paper Passion.

The photos that I used on this layout were of my daughter and her best friend. We had a fabulous time doing some photos last summer in the back field....such picture perfect girls.

Here are a few close ups....

Thanks so much for looking and stay tuned for some more creations with this gorgeous kit.
